Enterprise class third generation 802.11 a/b/g wireless LAN Switch and Access Points with clients Load Balancing compatible WITH EXISTING 802.11 CLIENTS.

Challenge:

Develop a WLAN Load Balancing algorithm compatible with 802.11 MAC and Access Points to allow an intelligent switch to move 802.11 clients from one Aceess Point to the other for improved network performance.

Results:

Served as the system designer. Developed and patented a unique Load Balancing algorithm featured dynamic channel allocation, power control, and interference mitigation.

In addition developed test plan for Standard WLAN 802.11 smart antenna

Non Line Of Site Optical Communications

Challenge:

Propose to DARPA four project proposals using Non-Line-Of-Site Free Space Optical Communications

Results:

Co-authored and presented to DARPA Non-Line-Of-Site Free Space Optical Communications systems for Navy, Army, and Air Force applications.

Re-entrance of wireless telecom vendor to China.

Challenge:

Re-entrance of a wireless telecom vendor to Chinese market by collaboration agreement with a local telecom manufacturer.

Results:

Served as the sole representative to China. Met with several Chinese well know telecom vendors. Negotiated and closed a US $1 million cooperation agreement.
